Project Description
RealtyAssist's "Aurora" project, featuring the back-end application "Engine," is designed to replace their outdated WordPress system. Transitioning from a B2B to a B2C model while maintaining B2B operations behind the scenes, the system manages fund requests between customers and third-party agencies such as Ray White, LJ Hooker, and Harcourts. The platform supports various roles with complex permissions to guarantee secure and efficient management of fund requests. The system also includes branding rules for locations and a comprehensive notification system.
Challenges Addressed
The project faced several challenges, including adhering to the JSON-API specification, implementing dynamic shared access permissions, and maintaining multiple APIs for different portals and integrations. Managing numerous third-party integrations and documenting the system added to the complexity. Additionally, integrating Nova as a significant part of the system's management tools required careful handling.
Solution Delivered
Hatchet developed a custom software solution leveraging Laravel and other modern technologies, integrating numerous third-party services such as Stripe, Twilio, and AWS. The new system ensures efficient fund request management, secure data handling, and seamless user experience across different roles and locations. Implementing advanced notification systems and real-time tracking boosted operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Outcome
RealtyAssist now benefits from a solid and scalable system that supports its evolving business model. The transition to the new platform has significantly reduced manual processing and improved the overall management of fund requests and customer interactions.
